Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Columbia MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a driving patrol officer in a busy retail location you will monitor assigned areas through routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. At Allied Universal you will bring agility reliability and integrity to every shift while working with a team that puts people first and values innovative service.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors customers and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor entrances parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points high-traffic areas and restricted locations to help to deter unauthorized entry suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
- Assist with loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity reporting unusual behavior and supporting requested response actions in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
