Youll spend time both in the field and in the office supporting construction teams by collecting analyzing and translating survey data into accurate layouts models and drawings. This means working outdoors in all kinds of weather meeting tight timelines and collaborating closely with experienced professionals who are invested in your learning and work can be challengingbut its also incredibly rewarding. Youll see your work come to life on site take pride in contributing to complex infrastructure projects and build skills that set you up for a strong career in surveying and construction. This is a 6 month term from May-October 2026 with possibility of extension. Make a Difference Undertake and coordinate the planning and implementation of construction survey and drafting for heavy civil construction projectsConduct and oversee survey requirements to facilitate construction activities including modeling for and layout of critical structures for projects and to complete as-built surveysComplete data analysis from as-built surveys and quantity calculations for progress claimsMaintain accurate survey records and related documentationPerform drafting for various drawings required for pre-construction planning interim and close-out documentation or similar reportingAcquire manage and maintain survey instruments and related assetsAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresAdhere to quality management systems and SOPs related to survey activities and related deliverablesLead and champion a culture of excellence ensuring adherence to the highest standards of health safety and quality across all areas of identify and mitigate risks while fostering continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory and external client your Education & Expertise Associate degree or college diplomaMinimum 3 years of experience as a surveyorRead and interpret construction drawingsKnowledge of applicable Health & Safety legislationDGPS (Trimble R12 or equivalent) Total Station (SX10 or equivalent) and Drone (Phantom 4 Pro or equivalent) equipment operational experienceStrong computer skills and proficiency in the use of MSOffice ACAD Civil 3D or equivalent modeling and engineering-based drafting softwareSelf-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in safety and qualityStrong work ethic with the ability to lead a team or work individuallyMust be physically fit work outdoors in various weather conditions can regularly carry 20kg of equipmentValid Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstractA strong team player who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and sharing a good sense of humour and strong admiration of our Mullet Culture is always an : Various Construction sites throughout Canada including remote locationsShare in our ValuesOur shared values and culture play a crucial role in shaping the identity and success of our team.
