Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper Executive to oversee the efficient management of materials tools and equipment at our construction sites and warehouses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the real estate and construction industries ensuring smooth operations through effective inventory control procurement coordination and compliance with safety standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of materials tools and equipment stock.
Conduct regular stock audits to ensure consistency between physical and system inventories.
Monitor stock levels and generate timely procurement requests to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Work closely with the procurement team to source and acquire materials as per project requirements.
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
Verify the quality and quantity of received materials against purchase orders.
Organize storage facilities to ensure safe and efficient use of space.
Implement proper labelling and categorization of materials for easy retrieval.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations for hazardous materials storage
Maintain records of tool and equipment issuance and returns.
Schedule regular maintenance and servicing of tools and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
Liaise with site supervisors to understand material and equipment needs.
Facilitate timely delivery of required materials to various construction sites.
Prepare and submit regular stock reports including shortages and surplus details.
Document all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions accurately.
Ensure all storage and handling activities comply with company policies and local regulations.
Monitor adherence to health and safety standards in storage and distribution areas
Required Skills & Competencies
Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Inventory Management Logistics or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in storekeeping preferably in real estate or construction industries.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction materials tools and equipment.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to interact with vendors site managers and team members.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in inventory tracking and documentation.
