JOB SUMMARY

Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician in the clinic.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education:

- Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.

Certification & Licensures:

- Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri or Current license as a Physicians Assistant.

- BLS Certification

Experience:

- Three years experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred in Family Medicine.

- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment

- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients physicians staff and the public

- Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations

- Ability to communicate clearly as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions

- Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment electronic systems for ordering medical records and other common computer programs
