Join EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Poland and become part of a team that builds scalable cloudnative this role you will design and implement applications that address real business needs and directly contribute to EYs purpose ofBuilding a better working world. Youll work with modern architectures collaborate closely with skilled engineers and influence key technical decisions in a global environment.

Your key responsibilities

Designing and developing advanced scalable backend solutions in Java that meet high standards of reliability and performance.
Ensuring high code quality through participation in code reviews and continuous knowledge sharing with the team.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues improving application performance and optimizing system behavior.
Contributing to architectural decisions and cocreating the technical landscape of the platform.
Supporting less experienced team members and fostering team growth.
Maintaining accurate and uptodate technical and project documentation.

To qualify for the role you must have

Commercial experience in Java development and practical knowledge of the Java ecosystem: Spring Spring Boot Hibernate REST API Microservices Web Services Maven.
Handson experience with BPMN 2.0 and tools such as Flowable Camunda Activiti or jBPM.
Familiarity with message queues (Kafka PubSub).
Experience working with SQL and Git.
Good command of English both written and spoken.

Ideally youll also have

Experience with multithreading distributed systems and application monitoring (e.g. ELK stack).
Knowledge of cloud platforms ideally GCP but AWS or Azure are also valuable.
Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes Helm).
