Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Facility Rounds in Washington DC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support daily operations with agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while contributing to a caring people-first culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and/or activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility surrounding grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials visitor activity and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols for a financial services environment.
- Support the handling of disturbances suspicious activity and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders and applicable armed post guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
