You will design build and scale production-grade ML systems that automate margin-critical decisions for thousands of restaurant shifts. Moving beyond notebooks youll own the end-to-end lifecyclefrom problem framing to deployment and monitoringcreating intelligent forecasting and labor planning tools that replace guesswork with predictive analytics for global hospitality brands like Jamie Oliver Group.
Location: London UK / Dublin Ireland / Spain (Remote-first)

What you will do:
Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle by designing deploying and monitoring production-grade services that power real-time demand forecasting and workforce optimization
Build robust observable ML pipelines and monitoring strategies to detect drift and ensure models maintain commercial value and accuracy in live operational environments
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed statistical models into seamless workflows that restaurant operators rely on daily to manage multi-million pound businesses
The ideal candidate:
Proven track record of taking production ML systems from ambiguous concepts to revenue-impacting deployments specifically within classical ML forecasting or time-series domains
Advanced academic background (MSc/PhD) in applied statistics or quantitative reasoning with a production-first mindset and proficiency in writing clean maintainable Python for shared codebases
Strong systems thinker comfortable working across APIs CI/CD and cloud infrastructure while measuring success through business metrics like automation rates and margin improvement
