Job Summary
This a 6 month temporary role working Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
% of time | Core Functions |
50% | Ensure accurate shipping functions and procedures: Receive and fulfill centers with hair systems Wetline products and laser devices and salon supplies including but not limited to pallet goods from less than truckload (LTL) shipments and personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies |
20% | Shipping and receiving administration: Order supplies for shipping and receiving including courier and mailing needs and complete daily/ weekly/ monthly paperwork and reports pertaining to entire Production department functions |
20% | Provide support to the Production department: Assist Manager- Production and Shipping Services with bi-annual inventory by performing physical piece counts and priority hair recall inventory when necessary |
10% | Provide Shipping and Receiving services to the organization: Compile and/or distribute training materials as directed. Complete and/or distribute special projects including projects for other departments and kitting of supplies fulfilled by Production department |
Performs other reasonable duties as required
KEY MEAUSURES OF SUCCESS:
- Receiving and shipping of hair timely and accurately
- Receive stock and ship supplies and products timely and accurately
- Complete all project requests within timeline
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Computer literacy particularly related to corporate programs
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Basic reading writing and verbal skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Quick learner
- Able to work independently without much supervision
- Detail oriented
- Able to multi-task
- Able to lift 50 pound boxes
- Handles peaks and valleys in the work day and work week
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office/ Warehouse environment
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Keyboarding: entering text and/or data into a computer
- Requires working with computer systems
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
