As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a prominent public arts location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access control activities. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access guidelines and emergency response activities at a public-facing government cultural location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries public areas administrative spaces entrances and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity maintenance concerns and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entry points visitor flow and restricted areas to help support authorized access protect property and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Assist with closing procedures crowd management and special event coverage as assigned while following post orders and reporting observations through required logs and communication systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
