About the role:
To provide BSL interpreting both face to face and remotely predominately working within the medical sector supporting Mental Health Trusts and addition you may be required to work with a broad range of clients in the private and public sector as well as individual Deaf clients. Opportunity to also work on InterpretersLive! service on prebooked and on demand assignments. This role will be based in the Manchester/North West area.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
To undertake face to face interpreting assignments
To undertake video interpreting assignments
To deliver high quality BSL/English interpreting services to all clients
To report to Head Interpreter and Line Manager
To maintain CPD
To abide by NRCPD code of conduct
To work well within the interpreting team
Qualifications :
Essential skills/qualifications/experience:
- NRCPD registration RSLI
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience working in mental health settings
- A full driving licence is essential
