Job Summary
Your role
As a FX Artist you will be responsible for creating high quality visual effects with a focus on their aesthetic values while remaining within technical restrictions. You will work together with Concept Lighting and Texture Artists Game and Level Designers to ensure that all the elements of the game are artistically consistent and compelling.

Punchy juicy and compelling in-game visual effects within the scope of the Projects level of visual fidelity and style
COLLABORATE EFFECTIVELY
With Designers Artists and Programmers in order to achieve aesthetic excellence
WORK WITHIN TECHNICAL CONSTRAINTS
Of the platform the project and the engine
Qualifications :
Your skills
CORE REQUIREMENTS
Game development experience
A good sense of visual pacing and rhythm
A good sense of visual composition and the micro-storytelling that is done within the realm of FX work
Understanding of particle systems and geometry based visual effects
Experience with Photoshop
Experience with 3ds Max or equivalent 3D package
TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Ability to manage your own time and work within deadlines
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Collaborate effectively with other team members
Good level of English
PROBLEM-SOLVER
Proactively search for the best solution
ENTHUSIASM
Interest and desire to work in the game development industry and develop your artistic skills
ADVANTAGES
Experience with animation

Experience with Houdini or Embergen
