Your Challenge
EXP an award winning international engineering firm is currently seeking aCultural Survey Participant in the SD region.
Your Responsibilities
- Participants from interested Tribes will be given the opportunity to accompany cultural field crews during the inventory phase of the proposed Midwest Carbon Express Project (Project) to provide local/Tribal input and knowledge to the field studies.
- The candidate is required to attend daily morning tailgate meetings.
- Failure to attend will result in loss of work for that day.
- A candidate will accompany each archaeological crew and will report to and communicate directly with the archaeological Crew Chief.
- All documentation and recommendations prepared by the candidate shall use the Project field report forms.
- At the end of each workday the candidate must take a photo of their completed report forms and submit to their supervisor to be incorporated into the Projects daily reporting.
- At the end of each workday the monitor shall check in with their supervisor.
The Skills and Knowledge You Bring
- The candidate shall be required to complete all Project safety training prior to the start of fieldwork and shall abide by Company and Project specific safety rules inclusive of wearing the applicable personal protective equipment at all times while on the Project ROW and/or facility sites
- The typical work schedule is six days on and one day (Sunday) off. For shorter field efforts the schedule will vary. Surveys may not be continuous due to weather field conditions or lack of land access.
