The College/Unit of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences invites applications for part-time academic job of Part-Time Research Assistant for Summer 2026.
Assist faculty members in launching and collecting Windsond observations on selected days downloading and analyzing observational field program data from NCAR and the DOE ARM program working with WSR-88D observations to calculate quasi-vertical profiles of radar observations and applying machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to radar-derived quasi-vertical profiles to track features in the quasi-vertical profiles.
