We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team in one of our FCs.
Your responsibilities:
- Managing an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders direct to our customers subject to ever rising volume and complexity operating on a 24/7 basis
- Managing day-to-day relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Driving operational goals and metrics for your area. Communicating the vision to your team
- Presenting operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team
- Problem-solves for closing gaps between performance and goals
- Hires and develops top talent. Creates and implements a talent plan for the site including talent acquisition performance and career management learning and development succession planning and employee engagement.
Key job responsibilities
The Ops Manager leads an operation for 65k packages. Leads a team of 7 managers and 200 Associates being the owner of solving complex problems and making key decisions and escalations on behalf of their team. Fosters a Culture of Safety. Responsible for protecting service levels monitoring and improving drivers and associates performance.
A day in the life
This manager will be responsible for key metrics include but are not limited to: Safety Metrics Quality Metrics Cost Metrics including lead Savings projects
About the team
Responsible for goals in an area where the strategy may not yet be defined. Establishes workflows SLAs and operational excellence mechanisms at the site. Sets the standard for effective Inbound management and is well versed in industry practices and technologies. Has a deep understanding of the business priorities and customer needs and can proficiently translate those needs into the right solutions. Brings Operations perspective to decision making with strong business acumen (understands contribution to the business and partners with finance for cost-benefit analyses). Broad experience across functional and technical areas designing developing deploying and maintaining large-scale operations.

- Speak write and read fluently in English and have the ability to take direction in English
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- 8 years of operations management experience
- Speak write and read fluently in Spanish
- Bachelors degree
- 8years Operations Management experience in manufacturing production distribution environment or related industry
- 5 YOE with data analysis
- Experience supporting hourly workforces of 50 employees and leading teams
- Excel skills required.
- 8 years of performance metrics process improvement or lean techniques experience
