Whats the role

As an Associate or Senior Associate in Corporate FX Sales Team youll join Westpacs marketleading Financial Markets business supporting corporate clients to manage foreign exchange risk in their business.

From day one youll support a portfolio of Corporate FX clients and work alongside experienced dealers and bankers gradually building the skills and confidence to manage client relationships and deliver FX solutions independently.

Youll operate at the intersection of market insight datadriven signals and client engagement helping identify opportunities execute FX transactions and educate clients on risk management solutions. Over time youll deepen your understanding of FX markets products and client needs building a longterm career path within Financial Markets.

This is an officebased role in Melbourne with an expectation of five days per week in the office particularly during the first six months to support learning and development. Some adhoc flexibility may be available over time; however this role is not a hybrid role by default

What do I need

  • Strong interest in financial markets and foreign exchange with curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Experience in banking advisory financial markets or graduate programs (advantageous)
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data numbers and market information
  • Experience supporting FX client activity such as trade execution client engagement or deal support (advantageous)
  • Confident communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • A proactive motivated mindset with the resilience to thrive in a fastpaced highperformance environment
  • Hold an AFMA accreditation (advantageous)
