Job Description:
Department Description
TheProgressive Care Unit (PCU)provides care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but athigh risk for clinical instability. Care involves:
- Advanced patient monitoring
- Detailed assessments
- Timely clinical interventions
- Skilled nursing judgment and experience
Job Requirements
Licensure & Education
- Active unencumberedOregon RN license(required at submission)
- High school diploma or equivalent(required for CAP compliance)
Certifications Required
- BLS (Healthcare Provider Level)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
Experience
- Minimum1 year of RN experience
- PCU experience preferred
- BasicEKG interpretation skills preferred
Unit Information:
- Focus onprogressive care patientsrequiring close monitoring
- Emphasis on cardiac and neurological observation
