Job Summary
Batteries Plus is looking for a dependable and safety-minded Transfer Driver to join our Distribution Center this role youll be responsible for transporting materials between our main and overflow warehouses using a 26-foot box truck. Youll handle loading unloading and staging materials while ensuring every transfer is completed accurately efficiently and safely. This role is key to keeping our operations moving smoothly and our inventory flowing on time.
What Youll Do
Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport products between warehouse locations.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Secure loads and ensure compliance with all transportation and safety standards.
Stage organize and break down pallets as needed.
Operate forklifts and walkie-riders to move and organize materials.
Accurately count scan and verify products and storage locations.
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and actively participate in training programs.
Support safe warehouse traffic flow and immediately report any incidents or hazards.
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
Minimum 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
Experience driving box trucks or operating powered industrial equipment preferred.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years required.
Strong attention to detail organization and time management skills.
Ability to operate with minimal supervision after training.
Comfortable using warehouse systems and scanning equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
