Salary: 28988 - 31210* per annum plus generous employer pension contributions and other benefits. *Salary will be revised in line with annual salary award effective 1 April 2026.

Building on the experience and impact ofFerrywellin Edinburgh () and Junction 12 in Glasgow () a key focus for the next period is planting more local Christian youth projects in priority communities to share the love of Jesus with children youngpeopleand their families.
The East End of Glasgow has record levels of deprivation. Work hasalreadybegun in the BridgetonDalmarnockand Parkhead areas making links with Eastbank and St Mungos Academies and their associated are also encouraged by local church support for this growing work.
Purpose
Reporting to our Local Youth Projects Development Coordinator thisnewrolewillbe key indeveloping and leading the worktoestablisha youth projectwithintheBridgeton arealinkingwith schoolsintheEastbank and St Mungos Academycatchments.
Who we are looking for
To achieve this we want toidentifysomeonewith a vibrant Christian faithwho understandslifeforyoung peoplewithin a priority community. They should be able tobuildpositivetrustingand supportive relationships and have previous proven experience of this type of ministry with children and young people.
For this post it is important that you are committed to SU Scotlands ethos working principles and vision and candemonstratethis through your commitment and motivation. It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1 schedule 9) that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
