An exciting opportunity is available for a Manufacturing Services Leader working within the Defence team in Bristol.

This role is focussing on supporting the Manufacturing business which has a diverse range of equipment to maintain leading a team of technicians to deliver high levels of asset and fixture availability and proactive maintenance performance using a strong HSE focus.

What you will be doing:

  • HSE - Drive towards a performance and culture of Zero Harm. Ensuring our teams are trained and compliant to safety standards and promoting wellbeing. Taking the lead in a Responsible Person role to support the safety case.
  • Lead investigation into significant asset faults to continuously improve.
  • Deliver statutory inspections high levels of asset/fixture availability and proactive maintenance tasks
  • Cost - Represent Rolls Royce when dealing with external Service providers and manage Departmental budget.
  • People - Lead daily communications with the Manufacturing Services Team to deliver

Position qualifications:

  • Engineering qualifications to Level 4 / 5 or equivalent.
  • A proven track record as a leader in a Manufacturing or a maintenance environment.

Preferred requirements:

  • Understanding/knowledge of asset care and maintenance practises
  • Root Cause Analysis/ Continuous Improvement skills.
  • Experience of managing and coordinating with external Service Providers and contractors.

The professional level and the salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
