Job Summary
Job Title - QA Engineer
Location - Pune Baner
Department - Engineering
Experience Required - 3 years of overall experience (with at least 1 year in Automation Testing)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automation testing along with a good understanding of performance testing APIs and database validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Perform manual testing when required to ensure product quality
- Conduct API testing using Postman
- Execute performance testing using JMeter
- Identify report and track defects using JIRA or similar tools
- Validate data using SQL/MySQL queries
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders for requirement analysis
- Participate in test planning test case creation and test execution
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Automation Testing
- Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
- Working knowledge of JMeter for performance testing
- Good understanding of databases (SQL/MySQL)
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
