Job Summary
Mobile Maintenance Technician
Location: South East MI
Summary:
As aMobile Maintenance Technician you will play a key role in ensuring that retail properties are well-maintained safe and visually appealing. A significant part of this role involves working outdoors conducting maintenance and inspections in various environmental conditions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining common areas such as parking lots landscaping and outdoor mechanical systems as well as performing routine exterior repairs and inspections.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Outdoor Property Inspections and Maintenance:Regularly inspect mechanical equipment located outdoors including HVAC units irrigation systems and roof systems.
- Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance:Oversee and perform necessary landscaping tasks including lawn care tree trimming and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
- Outdoor Repairs and Upkeep:Conduct repairs on outdoor structures such as parking lots lighting and signage ensuring the exterior areas are well-maintained and safe for tenants and customers.
- Daily Safety Inspections:Perform daily inspections of common outdoor areas to identify and address potential hazards such as trip-and-fall risks debris and other safety concerns.
- Environmental Exposure:Be prepared to work in various weather conditions to complete exterior tasks including power washing window cleaning and parking lot maintenance.
- Must be Computer savvy:Be responsive to phone calls text messages emails and completing daily tasks on check sheets and work orders ( THIS IS A MUST)
- Must have great communication skills:will be communicating with property managers supervisors tenants and customers on property on a daily basis.
Physical Demand Requirements:
- Outdoor Work Involvement:The role requires regular outdoor activity including trash removal landscaping and inspection of external mechanical systems.
- Climbing and Lifting:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders to perform roof inspections and outdoor equipment maintenance.
Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver License required
