Job Summary
The Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a significant impact within a leading global organization Isentia a Pulsar Group company is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team in Malaysia.
Our Finance team acts as a vital enablement partner providing the strategic reporting and support services that drive the Isentia strategy this role you will support the growth of the Group/ANZ region by providing comprehensive financial services that align with our corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Month-End: Actively lead month-end processing including journals revenue deferrals and drafting critical reports such as Cash Flow and Loan Covenants.
Sales Commission Management: Drive the validation and calculation of sales commissions ensuring they meet policy criteria and providing key analysis to the Leadership Team.
Asset Management: Maintain the fixed asset register monitor depreciation and perform WIP reconciliations and impairment assessments.
Statutory & Compliance: Prepare statutory financial statements assist with half-year and year-end audit queries and ensure adherence to all local legislative requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the budget process cash flow reforecasting and the assessment of the latest accounting standards.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious high-energy individual who thrives under pressure and is committed to continuous improvement.
Education: You hold an Accounting degree and are currently pursuing your CA or CPA qualification.
Technical Skills: You have a strong understanding of accounting principles and are proficient in Microsoft Excel Salesforce and NetSuite.
Communication: You possess strong organizational ability and the communication skills necessary to lead commission meetings and build relationships with key business partners.
Qualities: You have an eagle eye for detail the ability to meet strict deadlines and the confidence to challenge current processes to drive efficiency.
