The Role
The school is seeking a knowledgeable reflective and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3KS5. Religious Studies is a valued subject within the Humanities faculty attracting academically curious students with a strong interest in philosophy ethics and global perspectives.
You will teach a broad and rigorous curriculum from foundational religious and ethical concepts at KS3 to advanced A-Level Religious Studies (including Philosophy of Religion Ethics and developments in religious thought). You will contribute to a dynamic department that values intellectual debate curriculum innovation and high academic standards.

Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) with a strong degree in Religious Studies Theology Philosophy or a related field
Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at GCSE and A-Level (IB experience desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for philosophical ethical and theological debate
Ability to inspire challenge and engage students of all abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to contributing to the wider school community including debate clubs philosophy societies or enrichment activities
