Applications are invited for the 2026 part-time position of Fellow Neuro-ophthalmology. The Alfred Health Neuro-ophthalmology Service (NOPH) was established in 2018 in close collaboration with the Neuro-ophthalmology Service (ENOP) at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.

This positionwill participate in the Neuro-ophthalmology Services at Alfred Health and RVEEH.

The appointee must be a legally qualified medical practitioner registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Appointees during their final year of advanced training in Neurology or Ophthalmology will be considered. Appointees can also be registered Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or Royal Australasian College of relevant knowledge and experience in Neurology and/or Ophthalmology or preferably in Neuro-ophthalmology is required. Experience in teaching is desirable. The appointee will be required to enrol in an MPhil or PhD degree with an appropriate neuro-ophthalmology research project funded by an additional scholarship provided.

A substantive position is held with RVEEH.

This position is 0.2 EFT 17.2 hours per fortnight
