Position Overview

A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract assignment. This position guarantees 30 hours per week and includes variable shift scheduling depending on facility needs. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support patient rehabilitation and functional improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Aid patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and functional skill development
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Support the Occupational Therapist in delivering high-quality therapeutic care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated patient services
Follow facility guidelines safety protocols and therapy best practices

Requirements Experience

Minimum required experience: Less than 1 year (new graduates welcome)

Licensure

Active current state COTA license required

Certifications

Standard COTA credentials as required by state regulations
