Job Summary

Job title : Lead QE with Playwright

Location: Charlotte NC Onsite

Job Description:

Automation & Framework Development

Design develop and maintain end to end test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
Develop scalable reusable test scripts for web and API testing.
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions Azure DevOps Jenkins or similar).

AI Enhanced Quality Engineering

Use AI-based tools (e.g. Testim Mabl Functionize AutoGPT based test generation Copilot/Gemini testing assistance) to accelerate test creation and maintenance.

Explore AI capabilities for:

Test case generation
Log analysis
Defect clustering
Intelligent test selection/impact analysis
Contribute to adopting AI frameworks for predictive quality and faster validation cycles.

Quality Assurance

Define test scenarios edge cases and regression coverage.
Conduct functional regression cross browser and performance validations.
Participate in code reviews and establish automation best practices.
Track defects analyze root causes and collaborate with developers for resolution.

Technical Skills:

5 9 years of experience in QA automation.
Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with REST API testing (Postman Playwright API etc.).
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools or LLM-based automation assistance.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools-Azure DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions etc.
Understanding of version control (Git/GitLab/GitHub).
Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to test management tools (JIRA Xray Zephyr).
Experience with performance testing (Lighthouse k6 JMeter) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS).
Certification in QA automation or AI testing tools (optional but beneficial).
