Job Description
As a Security Officer - Visitor Screening Driver in Irving TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location helping keep operations moving smoothly. You will greet drivers and visitors screen entry points verify credentials monitor activity and document security-related observations using a computer and/or tablet. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Bring strong customer service and communication while supporting a caring agile team that acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Screen employees visitors and/or drivers entering controlled areas verifying identification and credentials and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in and loading or unloading points.
- Monitor access control points and screening areas observe for unusual activity and document findings and/or incidents according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around docks yard areas warehouse spaces and perimeter points noting hazards unsecured doors and/or policy violations and reporting them per procedure.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
