PAY RATE: $74.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: 2nd

• OT/DOT Expected: Possible overtime up to 20%

• Clearance: Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance (interim or final post-start). U.S. Citizenship required. Special Program Access or other government access requirements may apply.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Apply chemistry physics and materials science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods

• Provide technical evaluation and support for composite part fabrication

• Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for material and process issues

• Create and execute test plans write reports and contribute to material tool and process specifications

• Qualify and approve equipment materials and processes

• Guide material testing in the Materials & Processes Laboratory

• Coordinate with other disciplines including Design Production Manufacturing Quality and Procurement

• Travel to suppliers as needed

• Integrate new technologies and promote standardization across product lines

• Manage test/audit programs ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance and incorporate EHS LEAN and Quality principles

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance (interim or final post-start). U.S. Citizenship required. Special Program Access or other government access requirements may apply.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology) Chemistry Physics Mathematics Data Science or Computer Science

• Bachelors degree plus 2 years of experience or Masters degree
