Job Summary

Profile prefferance: project engineer Electromechanics with a strong interest in electricity and hydraulic engineering.

Assignment:

The development and follow-up of pumping stations pressure pipes or storage settling basins from design implementation start-up to and including aftercare. As a leading engineer you will represent Aquafin for the electromechanical part within the agreed guidelines with external and internal customers.

Providing support in the design and implementation of projects to internal and external parties with the aim of achieving an optimal delivery of these projects based on technical expertise in electromechanics hydraulics and modelling software.

Preparation and evaluation of different scenarios in order to arrive at an optimal project definition project content

and project timing.

Safe design of pumping stations and follow-up of safety with regard to contractors.

Bearing the responsibility for drawing up the preliminary design design and

tender file within pre-agreed guidelines taking into account wishes and

requests from internal and external stakeholders to assess the intended quality the available budget and the

monitor predetermined timing including supervising and managing internal employees

during the preparation of these files.

Organising the tendering and awarding process so that the projects can be completed within the

and budget and taking into account the Public Procurement Act

Leading the execution phase and delivery phase and managing the contractors so that the installations are built and started up in a qualitative way within budget and on time including supervising and managing internal employees (administrative staff draughtsmen...).

Organising and supervising the delivery process (delivery file trial periods) so that the

project is completed on time to the internal and external customer.

Guaranteeing aftercare with regard to external (invoices received) and internal customers

(assurance activities related to Operations feedback to Procurement regarding

group purchases).

Acting as an expert and providing technical and hydraulic advice to various actors

inside and outside the organization.

Correct handling of claims and claims related to petrol stations.

Mission region: east of the Antwerp-Brussels axis (mainly Limburg and Flemish Brabant)
