Job Summary
About the Role
Our Client is hiring a Senior Loan Officer/Underwriter. Title will be Officer Vice President depending on level of experience. Locations: Georgia Loan Center Duluth GA; Eastern Loan Center Fort Lee NJ. The role supports the Loan Center Manager with day-to-day loan center operations implements marketing strategies works with loan center staff to achieve assigned goals ensures compliance with operating policies and regulatory requirements communicates with management and staff and provides periodic reports.

Responsibilities
- Review credit memorandums for new renewal extension and modification of existing commercial credits.
- Make preliminary decisions on credit memorandums and inquiries for new applicants (GA Loan Center).
- Monitor the commercial loan portfolio to ensure covenant compliance and appropriate risk ratings.
- Minimize the number and balance of defaults through ongoing portfolio review and communication with borrowers/guarantors.
- Provide support to lending staff on underwriting customer service decision making loan structuring loan monitoring and related lending matters.
- Work with loan staff to develop and implement localized marketing strategies for bank products.
Qualifications
- 2 years of commercial lending experience or similar.
- Strong understanding of financial statements credit modeling and lending statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and loan underwriting tools.
- Experience with marketing.
- Bilingual (English and Korean) (preferred).

Compensation
Yearly up to $80000 for applicants with 2 - 4 years of experience.*
*Actual cap will depend on the candidates experience but is negotiable.
