Position Overview
TheMechanical Assemblyposition is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies using blueprints tools and production instructions in a heavy industrial environment. ThisMechanical Assemblyrole requires strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and the ability to meet production and quality standards.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum2 years of mechanical or assembly experience
Ability toread and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience usinghand tools power tools and measuring instruments
Strong understanding ofmechanical assembly processes
Basic math skills (fractions decimals measurements)
Ability to followwritten and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Must have or be able to obtainbasic hand tools
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
TheMechanical Assemblyrole includes:
Assemble components subassemblies and finished products according toblueprints and specifications
Prepare work by gathering materials tools and required parts
Use hand tools power tools and equipment toattach bolt drill and fit components
Performtesting and calibrationto ensure products meet tolerances
Conductgo/no-go inspectionsusing measuring tools
Read and interpretproduction drawings and instructions
Collaborate with team members to meetproduction goals and deadlines
Maintain aclean safe and organized work area
Additional Requirements
Must completetape measure and mechanical assessments prior to start
Must provide or obtainbasic hand tools
Preferred Experience
Training or certification inblueprint reading or welding
Experience inheavy industrial or manufacturing environments
Physical Requirements
Ability tolift up to 50 lbs (occasionally more)
Frequentstanding bending climbing and lifting
Ability to work in aheavy industrial environment
Vision requirements includeclose distance peripheral and depth perception
