Position Overview

TheClass B Welderis responsible for assembling repairing and fabricating metal components using various welding techniques to produce high-quality structurally sound products. ThisClass B Welderrole requires the ability to read blueprints interpret technical drawings and perform precision welding in a manufacturing environment.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum2 years of welding experience
Ability toread and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience welding inflat vertical and overhead positions
Strong understanding ofwelding safety practices and procedures
Experience withgrinding drilling milling tapping and cutting materials
Ability to performquality inspections on finished welds
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
High School Diploma or GED required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

TheClass B Welderrole includes:

Performquality weldsaccording to blueprints and specifications
Prepare materials bycutting grinding drilling and fitting components
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
Weld components inflat vertical and overhead positions
Inspect finished welds to ensurequality and structural integrity
Performmodifications repairs and assembly workas needed
Monitor equipment and maintain properoperating conditions
Support additional fabrication processes such asriveting and small part assembly
Maintain aclean organized and safe work environment

Preferred Experience

Welding certification from anaccredited institution (preferred)
Experience withaluminum welding or heavy equipment manufacturing
Familiarity withISO 9001 standards and quality systems

Physical Requirements

Ability tolift and handle materials as needed
Frequentstanding bending and working in a shop environment
Ability to work in variouswelding positions and conditions
