Job Summary

As a Java Backend Developer you will:

Design develop and maintain modern modular scalable and reusable backend applications using Java (17).
Build and maintain microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot.
Develop and manage RESTful APIs and work with HTTP-based services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage source control using Git.
Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL for data management.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit Mockito and RestAssured.
Apply cloud development concepts while building scalable applications.
Troubleshoot issues optimize performance and ensure code quality through best development practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

68 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot building scalable applications.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control systems.
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL along with exposure to NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
Experience in test-driven development and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit Mockito or RestAssured.
Knowledge of cloud development concepts including exposure to Azure tools such as AKS Azure DevOps and Azure Insights.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes along with automation tools like Ansible.
Working knowledge of JavaScript Kafka for event-driven architectures additional Spring frameworks (e.g. Spring Batch) and understanding of functional or reactive programming concepts.

You should possess the ability to:
