Expert for Education and Training in HPC (f/m/d)
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the management and further development of the LRZ course programme on national and European level
- Coordinate with other GCS centres and EuroCC national competence centres
- Collaborate with other national and European projects and initiatives
- Develop courses workshops and hackathons on new and exciting topics
- Disseminate the course programme to academia and industry particularly SMEs
- Develop new training formats including e-learning and blended learning approaches with synchronous and asynchronous components etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science computational science mathematics physics or related disciplines
- Experience with training teaching and tutoring
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Strong didactical pedagogical and organisational skills
- Knowledge of HPC relevant programming languages and parallelisation paradigms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in the field of education and training or course management
- Relevant HPC knowledge to lecture own courses
- Experience working with scientists and engineers in academia or industry
- Strong communication skills and cooperative attitude
- Motivation and resourcefulness
Conditions:
Area | High-Performance Computing |
Working time | full time (40 hrs) / part-time possible flexible working model with electronic time recording |
Term of the contract | 24 months a further employment is intended |
Remuneration | up to E13 seeEntgelttabelle TV-L |
Annual leave / compensatory time off | 30 days (24.12. 31.12. additionally day off) Overtime is compensated by additional time off |
Further trainings | Individual support for in-service training and further education |
Mobile work | up to 60% of work time when applicable |
Benefits | e.g. bus and subway (U6) on the doorstep free parking pension plan of the Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL) state-of-the-art work equipment |
