Merchandiser (m/f/d)
HUGO BOSS AG Metzingen near Stuttgart Germany Full-time

At the earliest possible starting date we are looking for a Merchandiser (m/f/d).

What you can expect:
  • Together with Planning Buying and Retail you take responsibility for the strategic management of merchandise performance and stock allocation ensuring the correct allocation % is achieved within the required deadlines and in line with the sales plan.
    With passion and foresight you approach your tasks by analyzing sales stock and key KPIs at MPG/SPG level identifying fast and slow sellers and deriving concrete trading actions to maximise sales and profit per sqm.
  • With a clear focus on optimised stock flows and store performance you review store delivery capacities seasonally and plan delivery phasing by brand module and MPG ensuring the right quantities and timing per store.
  • You take on the planning and control of options into stores within the defined space guaranteeing customer choice while optimising productivity and supporting a strong brand presentation.
  • As the central point of contact and important interface between Merchandise Management Planning Buying Retail and VM you prepare trading calls present findings and suggested actions to senior stakeholders and Area Managers and take ownership of store performance.
  • High-quality data foundations are a given for you you ensure them through the confident use of SAP BIS and Excel develop own reporting identify discrepancies and resolve issues while also training others and improving system processes.
  • You support the implementation of the companys markdown strategy by analysing performance aiding in the definition of markdown prices and % off and providing system- and process-related learnings from previous seasons including input for store openings and key-style focus.
Your profile:
  • You have a completed Bachelors degree (e.g. in Business Fashion Management Retail Management or a related field) and bring 24 years of professional experience in Merchandise Management ideally in an international retail or fashion company.
  • You are a team player with analytical and structured thinking a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach and a high sense of responsibility enjoying the balance between taking ownership and working closely with others.
  • You possess very strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication abilities allowing you to present complex merchandise and performance topics clearly and derive actionable recommendations.
  • With your fluent English skills you are capable of supporting international stakeholders at the highest level; German is a plus and you value regular exchange with colleagues across several European countries.
  • Your solid IT skills especially in MS Office (in particular Excel) and ideally SAP and reporting tools as well as your digital affinity enable you to effectively use modern systems and continuously optimize processes.
  • Your independent and structured way of working combined with a proactive mindset strong decision-making skills and a clear focus on results enables you to manage your workload confidently your confident demeanor positive charisma and empathy round off your profile.
