The proceeds from the sale of items support the vital everyday work of Red Cross providing relief in times of crisis and care where its needed OpportunityOur Distribution Centre located in Derrimut is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with sorting and tagging donations. With this volunteer day youll get the opportunity to:Assist with sorting tagging and packing both new and preloved donated goods according to set standards & store requirementsHelp assess the quality and suitability of donated merchandise and address any quality issuesTeam build with your colleagues and contribute your skills to help us raise money for those in needNo experience is necessaryTraining and onsite induction providedAccessibility Clothing and FoodPlease note that Public Transport is very limited around do not recommend this activity for those with severe asthma or dust fully Closed in shoes are a requirement to be clothing is recommended as guests will be standing for long periods throughout the day. On hot days it can get quite warm in the have 2 small tearooms for water tea and coffee fridge microwave etc so your team are welcome to bring lunch if they would are limited cafes that are a short drive away for convenience we would like to suggest you consider catering.
