Job Summary
Rotational Oven Operator - Bristol IN
The Rotational Molding Oven Operator is responsible for operating rotational molding ovens to produce high-quality plastic parts according to production specifications. This role ensures accurate mold loading heating cooling and demolding while maintaining safety quality and efficiency standards.
Job Duties:
- Load molds with correct resin inserts and hardware according to job specifications.
- Operate rotational molding ovens monitoring cycle times temperatures rotation speeds and process controls.
- Safely move molds into and out of ovens using hoists cranes or other material-handling equipment.
- Inspect molds and parts during and after cycles to ensure proper wall thickness finish and dimensional accuracy.
- Trim clean and finish molded parts as required.
- Perform basic mold maintenance including cleaning tightening hardware and applying mold release.
- Document production data and report process issues defects or equipment concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all written work instructions and quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area adhering to all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Work cooperatively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in hot environments near ovens.
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to stand bend and move throughout the shift.
