Job Summary
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterologist to join a busy established practice at FPN Woodland Health Center located in Michigan City candidate will provide services for Gastroenterology patients in conjunction with a large group that combines primary and specialty physician offices.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have past or present gastroenterology experience strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
- No call expectation
- Average outpatient volume: 20 - 25 patients per day
- Telehealth visits offered
- Outreach locations office hours in Michigan City and Valparaiso. Potential office hours in Laporte or Chesterton
- Strong mentoring focus

Qualifications:
- Masters Degree Required
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required
