As a member of a team providing services to Airbus you will have the following responsibility:
- Sizing of structural parts components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state of the art analysis tools FEM techniques and classic handbook methods;
- Trade off analysis for design solutions and structural concepts;
- Analysis of mechanical systems and equipment integration;
- Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification;
- Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C Support to manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluation of concessions and nonconformities;
- Communication to relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments.
Qualifications :
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Aerospace or equivalent minimum Masters/Diploma degree;
- Fluency in English at least business fluent;
- Fluency in German at least business fluent;
- Several years work experience as engineer in aircraft structural analysis is required;
- Experience in stress analysis of pipe works or impact simulations is seen as a plus;
- Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB Bruhn ESDU Roark & Young) is mandatory;
- Solid experience in the application of specific stress analysis and FEM tools (e.g. Nastran Hyperworks etc.) should be available;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proactive attitude and willingness for teamwork with various interfaces to other disciplines.
