Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage you will lead with vision and passion - mentoring a talented team driving innovation and upholding the highest standards of excellence.

Competitive Salary: $70000 - $75000 gross annually based on previous experience & education

Job Duties Include:

  • Deliver professional engaging service while ensuring team adherence to LQA Forbes and brand standards; address guest concerns promptly and maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit mentor and develop department leaders and colleagues providing coaching training and ongoing performance guidance.
  • Oversee daily operations including reservations turnover cleanliness maintenance inventory management payroll and budgeted profitability.
  • Participate in forecasting analyze performance data and contribute to menu development and staff education to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead regular departmental meetings liaise with Conference Services and Catering for events and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management; experience in upscale or luxury 4-5 star properties preferred
  • Proven knowledge and application of LQA and Forbes Standards
  • Strong culinary and beverage expertise; ProServe certification required
  • Computer literacy including working knowledge of Excel Word PowerPoint Access and Windows programs
  • Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Silverware Birchstreet and Watson systems considered an asset
  • Staff scheduling and team management skills with proven leadership capabilities
  • Financial and cost control knowledge with experience in budget management and profitability analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure handle multiple tasks and make sound business decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift (8 hours)
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling pushing pulling lifting
  • Variable temperature indoor outdoor
  • Working in a loud environment
