The Opportunity
Are you a finance visionary ready to redefine the CFO office We are seeking a Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Data & Analytics practice in this role you will sit at the high-stakes intersection of strategy finance and technology helping leading organizations across the Middle East modernize their operating models.
You will be the architect of the Finance Function of the Future leveraging Generative AI Machine Learning and Intelligent Automation to turn traditional accounting into a strategic powerhouse.
Your Role
As a Senior Finance SME you will lead complex transformation workstreams and act as the bridge between finance stakeholders and technical AI teams. Your focus will include:
- AI-Driven Finance Transformation: Identifying and co-developing AI capabilities to automate processes and enhance predictive decision-making.
- Target Operating Models (TOM): Designing and implementing finance strategies governance and processes for large-scale CFO organizations.
- Performance Management: Redesigning planning forecasting and steering frameworks using advanced analytics and modern reporting.
- Innovation in Accounting & Treasury: Automating closing processes ensuring IFRS compliance and implementing modern treasury management solutions.
- Post-Merger Integration (PMI): Leading finance integration and operating model alignment during high-value M&A scenarios.
- Strategic Engagement: Building trusted relationships with CFOs and executive sponsors to expand our Finance and AI footprint in the region.
Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for a consultant who understands both the balance sheet and the power of a neural network.
Technical & Professional Requirements:
- Consulting Background: Several years of experience in Finance transformation within a top-tier consulting firm or leading industry player.
- AI & Automation Fluency: A strong understanding of how AI and advanced analytics can enhance finance processes (e.g. predictive forecasting automated reconciliation).
- Agile Leadership: Experience leading workstreams in agile environments (familiarity with SAFe is a major plus).
- System Knowledge: Exposure to modern ERP landscapes like SAP S/4HANA or Oracle as well as specialized treasury or reporting platforms.
- Stakeholder Mastery: Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite leadership specifically CFOs and Finance Directors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Outstanding academic degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Business Finance Economics or IT.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; Arabic skills are a significant advantage.
