Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital in Tyler TX.
The Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation services to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. This role focuses on improving mobility restoring function and supporting patient recovery through individualized evidence-based therapy interventions.
The therapist will work closely with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Therapists will provide care for patients with:
Orthopedic and post-surgical conditions
Neurological disorders (stroke TBI Parkinsons MS)
General medical conditions
Mobility and functional impairments
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient evaluations and functional mobility assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic exercises gait training and mobility interventions
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation (Epic)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
Active Texas Physical Therapist License
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
Strong clinical and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience preferred
Previous travel experience
Familiarity with Epic EMR
Scheduling & Assignment Details
40 hours guaranteed per week
Monday Friday schedule
Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
No specific weekend requirement mentioned
