Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a pediatric outpatient setting in Raceland LA.
The Physical Therapist will provide specialized rehabilitation services to infants children and adolescents with developmental and physical conditions. This role focuses on improving motor development functional mobility and overall quality of life through individualized family-centered care.
The therapist will work closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress and long-term outcomes.

Charting System: EPIC (preferred)
Clinical Coverage Areas
Therapists will treat pediatric patients with conditions such as:
Developmental delays
Torticollis
Brachial plexus injuries
Toe walking
Neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions
Early childhood mobility impairments
Key Responsibilities
Perform pediatric evaluations and developmental assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child
Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility and function
Implement early intervention and milestone-based therapy programs
Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and care strategies
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Utilize adaptive equipment orthotics and assistive devices when needed
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of pediatric Physical Therapist experience
Active Louisiana Physical Therapist License
BLS Certification
Strong communication and family-centered care approach
First-time travelers are accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient pediatric settings
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Experience with early intervention programs and developmental therapy
Scheduling & Assignment Details
40 hours guaranteed per week
Schedule:
- Monday Tuesday Thursday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Wednesday Friday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
No weekend requirement
Important Notes
Candidates must be comfortable working with pediatric populations across various developmental stages
Strong patient-family interaction and education skills required
Emergency Team Requirement:
Upon assignment therapists may be assigned to an emergency response such events staff may be required to remain onsite or return as part of a relief team until the situation resolves. By accepting this role candidates agree to these conditions.

Candidates must complete all onboarding and compliance requirements including:
Active state licensure verification
Skills checklist and competency validation
