Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Category Manager to lead sourcing initiatives and manage key spend categories in a fully remote this role you will be responsible for developing category strategies optimizing supplier performance and driving cost efficiencies while ensuring quality compliance and risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in procurement supplier management contract negotiation and data-driven decision-making with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives

* Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle including sourcing negotiation and contracting

* Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

* Lead supplier selection evaluation and performance management processes

* Negotiate pricing contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs)

* Ensure compliance with procurement policies regulatory requirements and risk standards

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance operations legal and supply chain teams)

* Monitor market trends supplier risks and industry developments

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes

Required Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Finance or related field

* 5 years of experience in procurement sourcing or category management

* Proven track record of managing spend categories and delivering cost savings

* Strong negotiation and contract management skills

* Proficiency in procurement tools ERP systems and data analysis (e.g. SAP Oracle Excel)

* Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to work independently in a remote environment

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)

Preferred Qualifications

* Professional certifications such as CPSM CIPS or equivalent

* Experience in strategic sourcing and global supplier management

* Familiarity with risk management and supplier compliance frameworks

* Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
