Key responsibilities of the Head of Science include:
Leading and developing the Science department across KS3KS5
Managing and supporting a team of Science teachers across Biology Chemistry and Physics
Driving curriculum innovation and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
Overseeing assessment planning and departmental resources
Contributing to whole-school leadership and strategic initiatives

Be passionate about developing both staff and students within the department
