The Role
The school is looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Art who can lead the department with creativity and confidence while delivering inspiring lessons.
Responsibilities of the Head of Art include:
Leading and developing the Art department across KS3KS5
Teaching Art including Fine Art and potentially areas such as Photography or Textiles
Driving curriculum innovation and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Overseeing assessment tracking progress and raising attainment
Organising exhibitions showcases and enrichment opportunities
Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the department

Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

Have excellent organisational and communication skills
