About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
Teaching a Year 4 class and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Leading and supporting Year 4 teaching across the phase
Supporting planning and moderation within the Year 4 team
Monitoring pupil progress and supporting interventions where required
Mentoring less experienced teachers or supporting trainee staff
Supporting curriculum development within Key Stage 2
Contributing to whole-school improvement initiatives
Building strong relationships with pupils parents and staff
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have strong experience teaching within Key Stage 2 preferably Year 4
Demonstrate leadership potential or prior leadership experience
Have strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Be organised proactive and confident supporting colleagues
Have a commitment to raising pupil achievement
