About BYD SMART Device Hungary Kft.
In addition to manufacturing mainly private label products BYD Smart Device Hungary Kft. as BYDs second Hungarian unit in Páty provides warehousing testing assembly and packaging services to its Customers.
Founded in October 2019 BYD Smart Device Hungary Kft. has become Hungarys first 5G smart factory specializing in 4G and 5G networks.
Located in Páty just 18 km from Budapest.
About the position
As a professional EHS engineer you will lead BYD Smart Device Hungarys factory in creating an EHS internal management system and supervise the implementation of all production departments. The compliance procedures of safety and environmental management during the construction process of BYD Smart Device Hungarys factory require your participation and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Keep EHS compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant EHS legal / regulatory requirements and with EHS policy and performance requirements.
Assist in handling government approval procedures related to safety and environment.
Implement the EHS corrective action to achieve zero accident and drive zero accident culture.
Identify and improve the occupational health in the factory to meet the occupational standards and regulations to protect employees health.
Assist to risk assessment and improvement to reduce site safety risk.
Responsible to set up implement maintenance EHS system (14000 ISO14001 ISO45000 OHSAS45001 work safety standardization) to comply with relevant national regulation and BYD global s EHS standards.
Assist to maintain and implement EHS policies procedures and management program.
Organize and coordinate fire prevention/ fire protection training including emergency evacuation drill do site re-check and make sure all the firefighting system are good status.
Plan and carry out EHS training for staff and operators (three level education) to enhance employees EHS sense.
Responsible to plan and organize weekly/monthly regular EHS audit inspections and follow up to improve the non-conformities stop safety violations.
Ensure that regular inspections and risk assessments are carried out/recorded/ completed.
Responsible for subcontractor and supplier site safety management program (training/hot work/contractor operations application approved/site supervise) to ensure that line management and any on-site contractors/visitors are aware of risks and control arrangements.
Responsible for special equipments Safety management and supervision and Special operation site audit supervision and inspection make them can work well/backup.
Ensure that concerns are reported to EHS leader in a timely manner.
Ensure accidents and near misses are investigated.
Responsible for security management to keep security service meet companys requirement.
Other work assigned by Supervisor.
Skills Qualifications and Experience Required:
Bachelors/Masters degree in safety / environmental or relevant engineering field;
Great experience in EHS system management (ISO14000 ISO14001 ISO45000/OHSAS45001) familiar with Hungarian safety and environmental management requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian language Chinese language capabilities will be a plus;
Be an effective team member working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output;
Assertive Optimistic resilient and welcomes change;
Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together;
You have a creative mind and strong analytical skills.
