Job Summary
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate with experience in sheet metal fabrication environments inventory control and forklift operation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented organized and comfortable working with computer systems including QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle shipping and receiving of materials and finished goods

Operate forklift to load unload and move materials safely

Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
-
Use QuickBooks and other systems for tracking shipments and inventory
-
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
-
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams
-
Maintain organized storage areas and material flow
-
Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies
-
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols
Requirements:
-
Valid forklift license
-
Experience in shipping/receiving and inventory control
-
Background in sheet metal or metal fabrication environment
-
Basic computer skills including QuickBooks
-
Strong attention to detail and organization
-
Ability to work in day or afternoon shift
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with warehouse management systems

Strong communication and coordination skills

Ability to handle physical work and lift materials as required
