Job Summary

Role: NVH Engineer Acoustic Simulation
Location: Raymond OH (Onsite)
Duration: Full Time - Permanent

Job Description

Education & Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Acoustics or Automotive Engineering
3 7 years of experience in NVH/acoustic simulation in the automotive industry
Hands-on experience with vehicle-level NVH testing and correlation

Tools:

Ansa
Nastran
HyperMesh
MATLAB
Python

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-vehicle acoustic simulations for:
- Horns
- Buzzers
- Audible warning devices
Develop and validate CAE models (FEM/BEM)
Predict:
- Sound propagation
- Directivity
- Sound Pressure Levels (SPL) inside and outside vehicle
Simulate horn placement and integration
Optimize acoustic performance while meeting regulatory standards
